How LEGO is used to support clients

Using Lego for individual therapy involves a therapist working one-on-one with a client to achieve therapeutic goals. This approach leverages the engaging and creative nature of Lego to facilitate emotional expression, enhance fine motor skills, improve focus and attention, and develop problem-solving abilities. Through structured activities and free play with Lego, the therapist can help the client articulate feelings, build self-esteem, and practice social and cognitive skills in a safe and supportive setting. The individualized attention allows for tailored interventions that address the specific needs and interests of the client.

How Sand is used to support clients

Sandplay & Sand tray therapy is a form of expressive therapy where clients create scenes in a tray of sand using miniature figures and objects. Clients are encouraged to choose figures and arrange them in the sand without direct guidance from the therapist, allowing their subconscious to guide the process. The therapist then observes the created scenes, which can reveal unconscious thoughts, emotions, and conflicts. Sand therapy is used with individuals from all ages and can be used with couples and groups.
